3/1 March is Reading Month kicks off!
5th-grade book club meets at lunch

Yearbook group shots @ 11am
Variety Show Act 1 Rehearsal at SJHS 4:15 - 6:30 p.m.
After school art class @ 4pm - registration required

3/3 Variety Show Act 2 Rehearsal at SJHS 4:15 - 6:30 p.m.

3/4 End of the trimester - Records Day
1/2 of school (Y5-5th grade ONLY)
Brown Bear Credit Union @ 8:20 a.m.
Brown School Variety Show -all students travel to SJHS @ 8:45 a.m. for performance/ 6:00 p.m. for families

Reading: Unit 5 Determine Text Importance/Compare and Contrast

Monday- Myths
Tuesday- Thor's Magic Hammer
Wednesday- Narcissus
Thursday- Make Connections Across Texts

Math- we will continue Unit 4: Multiplying Multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm. We will start working on Long-Division using the partial-quotient algorithm.

Science- we will continue working on our Unit: Chemical Magic!

Word Study- we will start UNIT 13: Verb Suffixes -en, -ize, -ify
